The AIRS Institute for the Advancement of International Rehabilitation Standards was founded in January 2016 as a not-for-profit organization and has its head office in Basel, Grellingerstr. 27, Switzerland. AIRS is set to become an important facilitator for advancing international standards in rehabilitation. On May 1st, 2017 the Institute opened a Chinese representative office and working base inside the Orenda Psychosomatic Medicine Museum at Jacksonville Yuanxiang, Beijing. The first international AIRS conference took place in 2018 in China. Currently the 2nd AIRS conference 2019 in Barcelona is being prepared from its Munich Office in Germany.
With the New Rehbilitation initiative, AIRS is setting up a series of conferences on the Health 2.0 future and industry integration based on Genomics and Microbiomics. We will issue the "Industry Guide" on New Rehabilitation.
